      Dear Mr. Young,

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy regarding your flooding problem.
As a retired Company Director myself, I would certainly have harsh
words with your Flood Prevention Manager Mr Barry Young.

Seeing as how you have has previous flooding problems you have to ask
yourself, Can I afford to keep this man on the payroll.

Hoping your high and dry soon.

      Regards,

      Harry Eales.

          Sir:

Recent flooding of our Edmonds facility reulted in far
less damage than similar events in the past. Due to
planning and preventative measures taken by our
flooding damge prevention team after the last flood,
very little was lost. Some material was standing on
the factory floor and got wet to a depth of about 4
inches, but this can be easily remedied by lateral
sawing of the offending material ends.

In no small part due to the quick action of our flood
assesment team headed up by department chief Barry
Young, no capital losses besides the aforementioned
          material were sustained.

The clean up crew consisting of Water redirection
engineer Barry Young and carpet drying specialist
Barry Young and several minions have the matter well
          under control.

Recent improvements in weather which according to
Meteorologist Barry Young are to continue for at least
the next few days have allowed clean up and assesment
crews full access to the facility.

At this time heavy duty aquarium pumps are redirecting
standing water to storm drains managed by the local
jurisdiction. The carpet drying vacuum operator Barry
Young is about to initiate Operation Shop Vac to
evacuate water from the presentation grade carpetting
in the foyer of our Edmonds facility.

Security manager Barry Young says that no looting or
theft of any kind has at this time surfaced.

Basically, this was a situation that could have been
much worse were it not for the actions of our crack
team of facilities managers headed up by Project
          Manager Barry Young.

Has anyone noticed that all of our managers seem to
have the exact same name? Surely this is a problem
with HR. I will contact HR manager Barry Young
          tomorrow morning about this anomoly.

          Thank you

Barry, I grew up in a flood zone, and have some bad memories of flood water. My condolences, and I hope none of your toys suffered the same fate as mine did

Boy, that sure was some storm, down here in the Portland Oregon hurricane zone!   It sounds like you were worse that we were...

Here's hoping for a little drought in your facilities, until the weather warms enough to re-introduce artificial wetting agents (beer, soft drinks, good sippin whiskey, your choice)

                        Sir:

Recent flooding of our Edmonds facility reulted in far
less damage than similar events in the past. Due to
planning and preventative measures taken by our
flooding damge prevention team after the last flood,
very little was lost. Some material was standing on
the factory floor and got wet to a depth of about 4
inches, but this can be easily remedied by lateral
sawing of the offending material ends.

In no small part due to the quick action of our flood
assesment team headed up by department chief Barry
Young, no capital losses besides the aforementioned
                        material were sustained.

The clean up crew consisting of Water redirection
engineer Barry Young and carpet drying specialist
Barry Young and several minions have the matter well
                        under control.

Recent improvements in weather which according to
Meteorologist Barry Young are to continue for at least
the next few days have allowed clean up and assesment
crews full access to the facility.

At this time heavy duty aquarium pumps are redirecting
standing water to storm drains managed by the local
jurisdiction. The carpet drying vacuum operator Barry
Young is about to initiate Operation Shop Vac to
evacuate water from the presentation grade carpetting
in the foyer of our Edmonds facility.

Security manager Barry Young says that no looting or
theft of any kind has at this time surfaced.

Basically, this was a situation that could have been
much worse were it not for the actions of our crack
team of facilities managers headed up by Project
                        Manager Barry Young.

Has anyone noticed that all of our managers seem to
have the exact same name? Surely this is a problem
with HR. I will contact HR manager Barry Young
                        tomorrow morning about this anomoly.

                        Thank you

Hey Barry, is it true that Ace reporter, Barry Young was the first
person from the press on the scene ?

I heard a rumor that the environmental specialist from the facility,
Barry Young was meandering about shouting mild obscenities and how he
was worried about how the Executive VP Barry Young was going to react
                          to this in the morning.

And as we are all pretty interested, do you know if the photo
journalist Barry Young got good photos ? and if he will be sending
them on to the IT Manager, Barry Young for publication on the website ?

Oh, yes, and pass our complements to the whole crew, Barry Young et
al, for their diligent clean-up efforts and the work they had done to
keep the disaster from getting too far out of hand.

                          Dave

I had not thought of photos. I was too busy trying to

up here who didn't even seem to do their jobs at all.

If misery loves company, we just got hit with a snow storm here in the
Midwest last night. This morning the wind is howling and drifts are

                                too.
Trying to work up some enthusiasm this morning to go out and attach the

The company I was with moved from NJ to Coon Rapids, MN.  Several of the senior management were from England and were addicted to cigarette smoking and it was a "non-smoking" building.  It was winter and the temp was -37.  It was "interesting" watching a couple of the execs standing outside trying to smoke.

Back when i worked for the pipeline company, i dreaded the Winter
months. Thats when things either broke or froze up especially when we
                                    pumped fuel contaminated with water!
The worst one was one Winter i got called out after midnight during a
raging blizzard. Seems an old mechanical turbine meter froze up
bringing the entire pipeline to a halt. The wind chill was a record
breaking -80 degF. Had to work 5 min. ON and without gloves, 30 min.
                                    OFF to warm up again.

been there, did that! One of these days i'm gonna give up the smoking
for good especially with a carton costing $25+ these days!
