      adventure in itself as the brush is inescapable!!!! In any event, the trek
      is a great accomplishment.

      Thanks Bob. Actually from Albuquerque. Hiking solo in Shinumo Amphitheater
      was a little intimidating, especially in the NW fault ravine toward Elaine
      saddle. This entire trip was new to me so route finding kept me fully
      occupied. I would consider going again but with at least one hiking partner
      who is a good climber (my weak area). Another possibility would be to hike
      from the Pt Sublime road to Lancelot Pt and get a good look at the climb
      down to Elaine saddle and into the fault ravine -- maybe do that part in
      reverse!
