Group Description

Goats are wonderful animals. They are smart and fun and can easily be taught to carry a pack or packs, backpack or backpacks or pull carts, wagon, cart or wagons . They can also be taught to do a trick or even tricks. Goats can learn to run agility corses just like dogs, cats and fancy rats. How smart is your goat? Does it do tricks yet? Or maybe one trick? Tell us all about the trick, the personality of your goat, the way you taught it and by all means send a picture of your goat doing it's tricks or running agility corses. All breeds of goats can be taught to do tricks.....Boer, Nubian, Alpine, Oberhasli, Kinder, Saanen, Dwarf, Nigerian Dwarf, Fainting, Pygmy, Angora, Cashmere, La Mancha, or LaMancha, Toggenburg, Pygora, Mini Nubian, Kasmir, Creole, Spaniard, High Percentage any breed and any other breed or cross breed or cross thereof (scrub) you all can think of. Even Milk goats or goats that are milking or milkers/milker; Meat goats too can be taught a trick or more too. Please no arguments over which breed is the smartest. LOL

I am SURE that training other animals tricks will come up on this list. That's just fine too. I would like to teach my llama/s to do tricks and I have taught my horse, pony, dogs, cats, fancy rats, guinea pigs, rabbits and as a kid I tought a chicken, parakeets and cockatiels to do tricks. Animals love to have a job or task. In fact if you check I have other lists at the Yahoo Groups site for trick training....cats, small animals...

The list owner and moderators assume NO liability for the care or training of your goats. Any advise given or taken from this list is a matter of your own digression. Train at your own risk. Any goats, other animals or equipment bought or sold
