      2nd Annual InterKingdom Equestrian Tournament

      Fair Citizens of all lands near and far, the time has come to celebrate
      our glorious warhorses. On the weekend of December 12-14, 2008, the
      Barony of Oldenfeld ( Tallahassee , FL ) in the Kingdom of Trimaris is
      hosting the 2nd Annual InterKingdom Equestrian Tournament. The day will
      be filled will friendly competition, fun and thundering hooves. The day
      should play out as follows: The InterKingdom Equestrian Tournament in
      the morning followed by a fabulous lunch break for competitors (lunch
      provided with feast for all others). Afternoon brings a Royal Joust to
      determine the Trimaris Jousting Champion, then more fun and games for
      all riders and ground crew. There is even the possibility of a Mounted
      Archery Tournament should there be enough competitors (3 minimum). All
      tournaments this weekend shall be in honor and memory of the fallen
      warhorses throughout the Known World this past year.

      Come gain experience for the war that looms in the not too distant
      future, bring glory to your Kingdom. Event info is here:

      Below are the Rules for the InterKingdom Tournament

      Rules of Entry

      1. All competitors shall make arrangements for mounts prior to the
      day of competition December 13, 2008. 2. All competitors shall be
      authorized for the activities in which they intend to compete prior to
      the day of competition. 3. All competitors shall provide their SCA
      names and a list of virtues and/or awards to the herald the morning of
      the competition. Letter of Venancy is not required, merely descriptive
      items available for the herald's use is sufficient. 4. All
      competitors and crew shall attend the safety meeting prior to
      competition December 13, 2008. Anyone not attending will not be allowed
      to participate.

      Rules of Competition

      1. All competitors shal1 provide their SCA names to the List Mistress
      on the morning of competition, December 13, 2008. 2. Competitors
      shall be randomly drawn by the List Mistress. 3. Once paired,
      competitors will roll a single die (1-6) to determine the activity for
      their bout. 4. Should a competitor not be authorized for an activity
      rolled they may choose one of the following options.
      1. Roll until they obtain an activity for which they are authorized.
      2. Choose a rider who is authorized to champion them for that individual
      bout.
      3. Winner of the bout shall report the result to the List Mistress.
      4. There are no eliminations. The Tournament winner shall be determined
      by the team with the most points. 5. There will be individual list
      winners as determined by points. 6. Each winner will be given 1
      point for their Kingdom and 1 point for themselves, recorded separately.

      Activities to be played

      Spear throw

      Quintain

      Ring tilting

      The Joust

      Heavy Mounted Combat

      The list numbers will be determined after set up. When a 6 is rolled the
      activity shall be determined by the Gallery. Competitors shall be
      authorized to compete in the activity chosen by the Gallery.
