As promised, here is more information about the IAJGS sponsored
International Jewish Genealogy Month and Poster Contest:

International Jewish Genealogy Month runs October 17 to November 14, 2012,
the Hebrew month of Cheshvan. IAJGS and the International Jewish Genealogy
Month Committee encourage you and your organization to publicize your
organization's programs and events in conjunction with this special month.
More information and support will be coming your way this summer to help you
publicize International Jewish Genealogy Month and support your association.

The IJGM Web Site is being revised to provide more resources to help you
publicize and celebrate International Jewish Genealogy Month. It already
offers you a great PowerPoint with notes that cover beginning Jewish
Genealogy. They were developed by Myra Rothenberg, Phyllis Grossman and Brad
Fanta with the JGS of Washington State. Please check out the site now at
      http://www.iajgs.org/jgmonth.html!

Right now, you can publicize the IAJGS International Jewish Genealogy Month
Annual Poster/Flyer Competition. All entries from member organizations (JGS,
SIG, BOF, etc.) are due by midnight Pacific Standard Time on June 3, 2012.
Member organizations may submit one or more entries. The entry creator is
not required to be a member of the member organization and there's no age
requirement for the entry creator. So get your kids, parents, cousins and
friends to participate. The artist creating the winning entry will receive
free registration for the 2012 conference. In addition, both the winning
artist and member organization will be acknowledged on our web site, at the
Paris, France, IAJGS Conference, and via member digest emails.

Here's your chance to reach out to new potential members of all ages.
(There's lots of talent in your local high schools and colleges.) The
winning artist, design and winning IAJGS member organization will be
announced at the July 2012 IAJGS International Conference. Also, the winning
entry will be publicly displayed at the event for the first time and
electronically shared with all conference participants and IAJGS member
      organization presidents.

For more details and the Poster/flyer entry form, please go to the
International Jewish Genealogy Month web site at
      http://www.iajgs.org/jgmonth.html or email nancyadelson@....

Look forward to hearing from you,
