Many of us have been using the beta site on FamilySearch to access their
latest digitized records. FamilySearch.org announced that
Beta.FamilySearch.org has now replaced the familysearch.org site. By going
to: https://www.familysearch.org/ it takes you to the new site which had
been the beta site. If you have bookmarked the beta site it will
automatically take you to the new familysearch site. This is a "soft" launch
in order that they may ensure that critical elements are functioning
correctly. To read more about the change see:
      https://blog.familysearch.org/node/1023.

FamilySearch also has a blog https://blog.familysearch.org/ which you may
subscribe to at no cost to keep apprised of updates on FamilySearch.
