      Subject: Clayton Library Friends Seminar, March 8, 2014

      The program will be presented by Carol C. Taylor, professional genealogist, historian, author, instructor, Chairman of the Hunt County Historical Commission and will be held at the United Way Community Resource Center, 50 Waugh Drive, in Houston. This is on Waugh Dr between Washington Ave and Memorial Drive. The four topics will be: 1) Civilians in the War 2) During the War 3) When the War was over 4) Southern Claims Commission Files. The lectures include both the Union and Confederate Armies and the one On Southern Claims Commission deals with those living in the south that supported or said they supported the Union.

      Registration is at 8:30 with the Programs from 9:00 - 3:30.

      Registration for CLF members on or before Feb 21 is $25; after Feb 21 it is $35.

      Registration for non-CLF members on or before Feb 21 is $40; after Feb 21 it is $50.

      Box Lunch from Jason's Deli [3 choices] is $10.
