      Classes are approximately 1 hour, unless otherwise noted.

       

      To register online for Clayton Library programs, please visit the HPL events calendar at:  http://hpl.evanced.info/eventcalendar.asp , and in the location box at the top right of the screen choose “Clayton,” then click the find button.  Note the month at the top of the screen.  If it is not the month you want, clicking on the month’s abbreviation will bring up the desired month and the events currently scheduled for that month.

       

      Find the program you desire to attend and click on it. On the next screen, fill in the name and telephone number fields and click on the ‘Complete registration” button.

       

      The next screen is your registration confirmation. You are finished and registered. When you have completed the registration, you may go back to the Events calendar and register for other events. If you have any questions about registering online or do not get a registration confirmation, please call 832-393-2600.

      Gathering History:Crafting Traditions 

      Saturday, January 4th, 2014 11:00-12:00PM

      Every family has a history, and it takes many forms. This class, part of a series at Clayton, addresses the textile heirlooms that are part of a family's story. You'll learn the historical significance of textiles, proper preservation for your current treasures, and even how to create a legacy to share. Reservations required.  Please call 832-393-2600.  Adults/Teens.

      Saturday, January 25th, 2014 10:00AM-12:00PM

      Interested in scrapbooking your family history but don’t know how?  Learn some of the basics of scrapbooking, plus learn some tips and tricks. Use some of the tools of the trade to make a greeting card and an envelope.  Reservations required, please call 832-393-2600.  Adults and teens (accompanied by an adult only).
