This was an easy kit to build, with super clear instructions. I used a metal box about the size of the plastic Radio Shack one in the pictures. (I botched the rectangular hole for the display and had to buy a second box, but that's a story for another day.) I bought the control switches and connectors myself, but would buy the add-on package from them if I were to build another - much less hassle than driving to Radio Shack only to find.empty parts bins - had to buy at 4 separate Radio Shacks.. .
I got the DFD4A model to use as stand-alone test equipment.
