Still trying to get my audio settings correct, and even after reading Goran's document, I'm still a bit confused and feel like I've taken steps backwards.
I'm running Windows 7, using the onboard sound card of a Dell optiplex 775 (ADI HD Audio).
At this point, I'm just trying to get ssb/cw rx/tx working. No digital yet.
I set up as follows:
Ddriver as WASAPI,
'To Line In' jack to rear line in input on computer,
'FM Line Out' to rear speaker output on computer
(machine has jacks front and back, I'm using the ones in the back, not the 'rear' field speaker output of a 7,1 system or the like)
NO 'Enable VAC'
Buffer size: 2048
I'm getting no indication of rf in (signal generator or antenna) on the waterfall or headphones connected to the 'Phones' jack.
At this point, I'm getting frustrated and have forgotten what worked. I re-installed GSDR today in hopes of getting back to where I can rx, but to no avail.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
