RE: [GenesisRadio] Problem seen whole screen in GDSR
- Hi all,
I also have an 0204, but I could never get the wbir to work properly. I did 'tune for max dip' on both inputs, but could never get the automatic function to work adequately.
I then used the fixed controls to further dip the image. I get about a 60dB rejection of the image in the fixed mode.
I'm thinking that it has to do with the noise being generated by my desktop computer (dell optiplex).
I am able to use the automatic wbir on my laptop.

Subject: Re: [GenesisRadio] Problem seen whole screen in GDSRJohn, I have an E-MU 0204 and I followed Bruce's instructions (Genesis G11 RX & TX Calibration, 02-05-2012). Set both right and left line gain control on the 0202 to 0, inject a strong signal, increase the left control until the noise floor just starts to rise (amplitude of both carrier and image will go up) and then increase the right control to reduce the level of the image. Do you get any reduction in the image signal's strength by turning the right control?Frank VE7AWVOn 7 May 2013 19:54, John Owens <jowens@...> wrote:Bruce,Thanks for the help on scrolling. Worked fine. Radio basically works great. Remaining problem, I can not get the image signal to reduce. I am using a ASUS Netbook and a Creative E-mU 0202.I turned off the WBIR, tried adjusting the right/left line controls, with no effect on image level, also P1R had no effect. What am I doing wrong. Thanks, John Owens

One problem, I can not see the whole screen, missing the bottom 1/3 (with the control and filter functions) There is no scroll bar and I tried Ctrl+G and Ctrl+V, with no effect. How do I get to the bottom 1/3 of the Compact Screen?John K6TVY
