The biracial child has a separate historic/
socio-policital world it has to live in and
should be aware if it as the article states.
A child's mother is it primary care-giver and life teacher.
Yes, the birth of the biracial child could also inspire
the white family to learn more about "black" history
--and-- also to become more aware of diverse people
in general, which is a benefit to the child.

What do you, "White" (for lack of better words) mothers
or fathers,grandparents, etc feel YOU have to contribute
to your child about your culture, family or heritgae?
