      The biracial child has a separate historic/
      socio-policital world it has to live in and
      should be aware if it as the article states.

      A child's mother is it primary care-giver and life teacher.

      Yes, the birth of the biracial child could also inspire
      the white family to learn more about "black" history
      --and-- also to become more aware of diverse people
      in general, which is a benefit to the child.
