Recommended input gearing is hard to define. Too much subjective. The correct information should be max torque at hub. I m very weak. I used 22/22 in alfine 8

I also saw the Amazon "special" with two Alex 700C wheels with the S3X rear. Not horrible for $220 but not too bad. The front wheel is bolt on.

Is it a modern version of the AB hub? I once had an 1950s bike with the AB hub, and it was easy to oil through the oil cap in the drum shell. I guess none of
