      The structural chaincase/chainstay is a fascinating feature. This implementation was expensively CNC'ed out of a billet of aluminum, but in volume production could be stamped or formed fairly economically.

      The SRAM iMotion9 hub not only has a special axle for the single-side drive, but the disc has been moved to the cog side of the hub shell.

      Cannondale has of course done single-sided "forks" for many years.

      Cannondale sure does make some OOOGLAY bikes. Unnecessary, too. At least they re handmade in the U.S.A. ? Meaning that they grind/ smooth down the welds
