        Hello Marino,

What are the specific places of your ancestors' births/residence? They are ethnic Germans. Galizien German researchers are a tight group, i.e., they network successfully. There is a large group of Galizien German researchers called Galizien German Descendants. That group might have information:

        http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GalizienGermanDescendants/

The Yahoo group seems inactive now for some unknown reason...maybe they have no competent moderator.

        Here's another excellent group:

I dont know how is the birth date of my ancestors.  I´m trying to find out, because the birth certificates burned in a fire of the house of my granparents.
I know than my great-grandmother (Martha Rohde) had a brother who was living in Germany (in Berlin I think), who had lost an arm because of a war before 1924.  He´s name was Henrich Rohde.

Respecto to the family Litke, I found some information they may have lived in Wolhynien as records of the parish Plock.

Thank you so much, I´ll try to fin something in these groups.

            Hola Anna:

            Mariano
