      “ROCK THE MALL” PIN CONTEST RULES
      December 28, 2011 – February 15, 2012
      Hard Rock Cafe Washington, D.C. (“Hard Rock”) would like to invite Girl Scouts of all ages to participate in Hard Rock Cafe Washington, D.C.’s first “Girl Scouts Rock the Mall” pin design contest.  The theme is “Rock the Mall.” The two winning pin designs will be produced by Hard Rock and sold in the Hard Rock
      Cafe Washington, D.C.’s Rock Shop.  For every pin sold based on the winning pin designs, Hard Rock will donate $3.00 to the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital.  
      CONTEST RULES
      The contest is open to any Girl Scout that is a member of one of the Girl Scouts of the USA member Councils.  
      Pin designs must support the theme, “Rock the Mall,” from the Girl Scout’s perspective.
      Pin design entries must be hand drawn or painted.
      All pin design entries must contain the following information in the upper right hand corner: 
      GIRL SCOUT NAME, COUNCIL NAME, TROOP NUMBER, AGE
      Only one entry per Girl Scout
      Entries must be delivered to the contest administrator by February 15, 2012 at 5:00p.m. to be
      eligible.  The two ways to submit entries are as follows:

      All pin design entries become the property of Hard Rock Cafe Washington, D.C.
      By participating in this contest, entrants agree to the rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final in all respects.
      All entrants must have permission from one parent/guardian via the execution of the signed entry and release form submitted with the entrant’s pin design form.

      Creativity
      Interpretation of the “Rock the Mall” Theme
      HOW TO WIN Hard Rock and Girl Scout executives in the Washington, D.C area will judge each Girl Scout’s pin design based on the above Judging criteria and two Grand Prize Winners will be announced by Hard Rock Cafe Washington, D.C. on March 15, 2012.
      The Grand Prize Winners will have his/her pin design produced into a pin that will be sold at the Hard Rock Cafe Washington, D.C. in 2012 during Girl Scouts Rock the Mall festivities.  From each
      sale, $3.00 will be donated from the retail sales price to the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital
