      You are doing science here, and the unit of science is metric. By using metric you are not supporting France or eurotypes you're supporting the common worldwide units of science. Your GPS modules output in metric, the balloon datasheets are in metric its seems odd to then convert this back into some archaic measuring system that should have died years ago. Interesting fact I found out the other day that JPL in CA is so metric they even have the speed signs in km/h which is one step further than we have gone in the UK.

      So all that said the Burst Predictor is open source available here : https://github.com/adamgreig/cusf-burst-calc so you can run a local copy and amend to your liking.
