CNSP already in southeast Nebraska

    Thanks to very strong winds at 100,000 ft, CNSP s balloon just crossed into Nebraska south of Lincoln. This is almost twice the distance expected by this time.

      Thanks to very strong winds at 100,000 ft, CNSP's balloon just crossed into Nebraska south of Lincoln. This is almost twice the distance expected by this time.  Current altitude (when the GPS is behaving - it's just after sunrise and things are thawing out) is about 106,000 ft and is on a course of about 085 degrees at 160 mph.

      This won't affect the ground track forecast all that much but obviously more ground will be covered in a shorter time - CNSP could be in range of European stations late Tuesday evening.
