      Those who live in subdivisions may wish to visit the consumer section of the
      FCC web site (www.fcc.gov/) for the latest Fact Sheet on Antenna Placement.  
      This helpful guide was written in February 2001, and is in Q&A format.

      It appears that the FCC has stepped in to insure that homeowner associations
      cannot impede a resident's ability to pick up television programming over the
      air or by Satellite, and it recently expanded this authority to cover
      antennas that receive and transmit fixed wireless signals.

      At this time, the FCC is not extending protection to other types of antennas,
      such as Amateur, CB, GMRS, etc.
