  • Not to mention somewhat depressing. Happy Thanksgiving anyway! • Dear Lora, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this...and your brother as well. I know most of the oncologist in Wilmington, as they used to be my customers. The good news is that I don't know a bad one. Sometimes cancers metastisize like rabbits reproduce. That doesn't mean that chemo won't work or at least get your brother into remission. I'll be in Clinton, N. C. next week...

  • Dear Lora, Based on what you've said, my best guess would be a metastatic carcinoma, but I tend to be a tad pessimistic, to say the least. "Serp" doesn't fit, but septa semia might. Where in N. C. is he? If I can be of any help, please let me know. Prayers and hugs, Anne -----Original Message----- >From: Lorad8@^$1 >Sent: Oct 30, 2006 3:36 PM >To: GIWorld-Hepatitis@^$2 >Subject...

  • Dear Dr. Misra, Your timing could not be better! I have some good news! My latest MRI and endoscopy results were good enough that I no longer score enough points to be elligible for a liver transplant! That's not well, but it's a far cry from where I was 7 years ago, when I developed hemalytic anemia and had to suspend treatment. Questions: On lab results, what do low protein and...

  • Dear Pam, The physical therapy was a REAL BOON for me and lots of fun as well.....once the pain got down to a lower roar. At any rate, I hope it works as well for you as it did for me. Hang in there, Anne -----Original Message----- >From: P E Dean >Sent: Sep 2, 2006 12:13 AM >To: GIWorld-Hepatitis@^$1 >Subject: [GIWorld-Hepatitis] Haven't had the tests yet > > >Dear Anne and other...

  • Dear Pam, So how did it go with the PCR and the biopsy. I, too, have osteoporosis. SO far I'm only going to lose my teeth in about two years, but I can see from where my Mother is, now, just about where I'll be in another 20 years, if something else doesn't get me first. Keep us posted on how all this goes. Anne -----Original Message----- >From: daxaeon >Sent: May 25, 2006 4:49 PM...

  • Dear Alley: Somehow I missed this post, but didin't delete it. If you want to try for a publisher, you might want to contact Mann Media in Greensboro, N. C. I don't have more of an address, but you should be able to google them. Hope this helps. • Wish I could, but in the words of the oft told telegram: No mon. No fun. Your son. Response from Dad: Too bad. So sad. Your Dad Maybe next year. -----Original Message----- >From: Kathy >Sent: Aug 11, 2006 12:43 PM >To: GIWorld-Hepatitis@^$1 >Subject: [GIWorld-Hepatitis] Is anybody here attending? • Dear Alley, She probably doesn't understand. You might try adding Aleve to the vicoprofen, but I'd ask for a script for vicadin. It is addictive, but it works fast, better, and lasts longer..........for me at least. Ask for a referal to pain management, but ask for one for physical therapy as well. The program they worked out for me has made a WHALE of a difference in my pain level...
