Group Description

Founded on March 29, 1992, the Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Law Association (GALLA) offers a combination of social events and interpersonal and academic support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students at GMUSL. In addition to providing a support group for its member students, the organization offers educational outreach to the student body at large.

Celebrating over 15 years at George Mason University School of Law (GMUSL)!

GALLA uses the law as common ground, encouraging all students to view gay, lesbian, and bisexual (GLB) issues and people from new perspectives. It is meant for students of all sexual orientations. GALLA’s mission is four-fold: (1) educating GMUSL students through forums and panels on GLB-related legal topics, (2) arranging pro bono and volunteer opportunities, (3) organizing social and professional activities within the student body and with student groups and attorneys outside, and (4) offering support for GLB and questioning students.

Mailing Address: GALLA, George Mason University School of Law, 3301 North Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22201-4498.
