  • Hi Joe, thanks for the info. The rear tow hooks are covered by pinned supports for a large rear winch, so I won't be able to see anything on them until that's all off. The front tow hooks seem to be a 4 digit number, one being 93?9 I think. The rear idler has an 'x' in a shield stamped onto it.   • Hi Joe, I don't know the T-number just yet. The tow hooks are pretty worn and I can see the remains of them. I'll need to sand them back or something to uncover the number. The final drive housings have a 'c' in a circle - american steel in Indianna, while the bogies have a 'h' in an open rectangle - National Malleable and Steel Castings Company, Cicero, Illinois.
