              Preparation for this role meant the entire interior and drive line was
              removed, and a hatch was added in the rear hull for access. While 17-pdr
              guns were retained, 75-mm guns were removed and replaced by a machine gun.

              Quite a number of hulls thus prepared were not actually put into position
              and set in concrete, but sent off to the ranges. This is one of them.
