Michigan area we actually had three Shermans. One at the Ford Motor test
track which was used to crush test cars. The second was at the Dearborn
Historical museum in the early 60's but it was removed after complaints. The
third lasted from the 50's till the late 80's or early 90's at the Real Life
day camp.I never got to go on it until i sent my own kids there in the 70's
and 80's.I was told a Colorado collector bought it along with the Vultee BT
airplane which the kids also played on!I also remember going up north in the
mid 50's to Camp Grayling and seeing a couple the Ex Mich National Guard
Shermans sold to a local along side the road. They say some ended up as
targets too.I wonder if their still out on the Camp Grayling range.
