After a year of writing plus another year of work with my editor, my book
CUTTHROATS is now available. Cutthroats, (the name our crew elected to have)
was an M4 Composite, and my book follows us through combat first in the Leyte,
Philippines campaign, and then the Okinawa battle. It is written in first
person and I've tried to take you along, in my seat, seeing the things I saw
through my periscope. It's not a how I won the war thing, but rather gives the
reader the upside as well as the down that we encountered.
It is a paperback, published by Presidio Press, and sells for $6.99. It may
be ordered through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, the Military Book club and just
about any major bookseller. There is enough technical stuff in it to satisfy
most readers who enjoy that particular subject, and for general reading about
those long ago days, it has plenty of that.
I hope you enjoy it...and thank you for allowing me to announce it here on
      our list.
      Later,
      Bob

Joe... For the movie (yeah, right) I was sorta thinking that Tom Sellick would be nice, but Linda, my dear wife, says Mickey Rooney would be just fine.
