        My Sherman is hull no 5271 and T-146309. It is the earliest (Sept. 1942) M4A4
        to survive that I know of.

          Hi Adrian,

          I happened to find a M4A4 (actually a Firefly-hull with a normal 75mm-turret) with
          Serial Number 4875 near the village of Hermeton-sur-Meuse in Belgium... *sorry*
