      ARGENTINA:

      A report on the uprising

Monday, January 7, 7 PM at the Women's Building

3543 Eighteenth Street in San Francisco
Featured Speaker: Carlos Petroni, editor of San Francisco Frontlines
      newspaper

The meeting will be held in English and Spanish.

Argentina has been through 5 Presidents in two weeks, four of them
from the two main ruling parties. Massive demonstrations forced them
      to resign.

      And it's not over.

The cry on the streets is "Everyone Must Go!" The economy has
collapsed. Argentina has defaulted on its foreign debt. Hundreds of
thousands take to the streets every day in defiance of the
government. The Presidential Palace and Congress are on fire. The
ruling class has instituted a government of "National Salvation," but
      resistance continues.

Will the military intervene or shall the mass movement prevail?
