Support the May Day Regional March in the City of Oakland

      International Workers Day

The immigrant community continues under a severe attack from ICE and other Federal and State agencies. The deportations have increased, the immigration raids of the workplaces have grown exponentially under the modality of silent raids expelling immigrants from the workplaces and the stigmatization of our community continues with programs like s-comm. Books that speak about our history and our struggles are being banned.
It is the time to resist and come out to fight in demand of respect and in defence of our dignity
This May Day we are coming out again to demand justice and to get organized to keep fighting.
At the same time we build bridges with other fighters for social justice who also want to recover May Day as a day of struggle. All out for the May Day March and Rally

      DIGNITY AND RESISTANCE

      REGIONAL MARCH

      Papers for All
      Abolish e-verify
      Elimination of s-comm

6:00 PM Rally - Downtown Oakland

The May Day 2012 Coalition also fights for:

Jobs, healthcare, education and a living wage for all! Against the growing economic and social inequality. Stop foreclosures and evictions! Housing for all! Banks got bailed out! We got sold out! Fund people´s needs not U.S. wars. Against racism, police brutality and attacks on all immigrant communities now! Stop all forms of sexism, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer bigotry. For justice and reparations for oppressed nations and communities, and in defence of their right to self-determination.
Today more than ever... there are no borders in the workers struggles!
