Bullets are just hypertext markup, as I understand it -- much like
marking text to appear as <b>bold</b> text. When bullet lists don't
have images they load much faster (since you don't have to take the
time to load graphics). Consider http://www.banaticus.com/cou/ I'd
like to keep the theme there, but remove the images from the
bullets. It would make the list in the left hand navigation frame
fit better, and it would decrease load time for the page.
I'd rather not screen capture images of normal bullets and put them
in as the new bullet graphics (although I could, this wouldn't
change the problems that I have with bullet graphics -- namely the
slightly increased size and the slower load time).
Is it possible to turn off the bullet images in a theme, so that the
browser inserts whatever default bullets it normally would in a list?
- I think I've found a way. I can go to modify the theme, write down
the location of the images that the theme uses, then create a CSS
that exactly duplicates the theme except for the presence of bullet
