The name of the photographer will be J. Dwinger.

      Take a look at: http://frgen.andrysstienstra.nl/fot/fotograaf.php?id=15.

The front side shows a soldier with a sabre. I'm not a military expert but I
believe rather unusual for a private in those days (about 1890). It shows
also the name of the photographer (J. Duringer) and its address (Grachtswal
      9) in Leeuwarden
The backside is very hard to read. I think there are eight lines
      4th line: zoo men
      5th line: weegt zoo
      6th line: men onder
      7th line: dient zijt
but I'm certainly not sure about it and it doesn't make sense to me.
Perhaps you may make some more contrast byj illumination from one of the
      sides.

      Groeten,

      Onno Elgersma

I have a photo of an unknown soldier taken in Leeuwarden, probably
around 1895. There is handwriting on the back apparently in Dutch or
Frisian. I can't figure out what it says but hopefully it will lead to
discovering who the man is. Is anyone willing to take a look at the image I
can email you and see if you can decipher the text? If so, please send me an
email address to contact you! Thanks!
