- Hey Hey,The initial tests will be off one of our older backup Airboxes which is 4:3.. But we are currently re-engineering the system to 16:9 for the April 1st Launch.Yeah quality will be interesting. I suspect it will be alot better than what we had on sky due to gear upgrades and more Bandwidth. As for actual program content... Well while were working hard on not being a preachy christian channel and find programs that are general family friendly, we realise that not everyone's gonna be happy.Skip ParkerShine TV

they source Shine TV via the Freeview transponder once your current
contract with them is up? - Hi,Yeah we will be discontinuing our feed to sky tv and they will send out reprogramming to their boxes to collect Shine TV from freeview. Were still waiting to hear which channel we will be given by Sky on their boxes. The Sky techs have been really awesome to work with. They are a really decent bunch of guys and helped us out the other day when we switched over to a temporary airbox at Mt Wellington while our microwave link was shutdown for a few hours.Skip

Not looking foward to seeing how bad things get with yet another channel jammed in there. Surely there is some requirement that things look ok on the service?

Hi Bill
Most boxes you can go the the channel edit and delete what you don't want .
In my case the multiples of TV 1 have been deleted
- Whenever I feel a bit on the down side, I watch a bit of comical fun
from parliament,,,,I allways seem to get a laugh or 2

There might be a good market out there for helping others to do the same.
