Freecycle is made up of caring people who are giving and getting stuff all for free. But that’s not what it’s all about. It's about fostering a sense of community and banding together to help keep down the amount of trash in our landfills.

Let's face it. Our landfills are being filled up and someday everyone will be living on what used to be a trash heap. Wouldn't it be better to recycle some of it instead of tossing it? We've only got one shot at this planet, so let's make the most of it! Got an old couch with a tear in the side? Someone else may need it! An old tire that you can't use? Someone may turn it into a planter! Perhaps you just finished remodeling...someone may be willing to take your "old" things and re-use them in their home. You may even have a "broken" washing machine you just don't want cluttering up your garage. Someone may have the skill to repair it. Nothing is too large or too small to be freecycled. The only catch is, that it must be 100% FREE, and LEGAL. More information and guidelines about the list are sent on approval of membership.

So what are you waiting for? Join us and start recycling!Welcome to the Freecycle_Cape_Cod. Membership is open to everyone who lives or works in the Cape Cod area and want to "recycle" that special something rather than trash it or have a yard sale. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, a piano, or an old door, give it away!
