      Aertorek energy services is looking for business process analysts and business transformation analysts.


      Position Overview:


      This position is focused on Business Process Analysis rather than Business Systems Analysis.

      The Business Process Analyst will lead the analysis and definition of new project management and resource management processes and approach for optimizing the Transmission Services planning and execution of the capital expand and sustain program. This individual will conduct stakeholder interviews, evaluate current state processes, and implement the "to be" defined best practices.  The business process analyst must possess strong communication and facilitation skills, as well as a proven record for navigating amidst ambiguity.


      Position Responsibilities include but not limited to:


      Major Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:

      ·            Plan and facilitate working sessions to analyze and document current state processes and future state processes that support standing up a Project Management Office (PMO) and implementing a PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) based project management methodology

      ·            Conduct a gap analysis to support creation of an implementation plan for the future state processes

      ·            Evaluate and assess business process change impacts and recommend appropriate change mitigation activities

      ·            Design templates and tools to support the project management methodology

      ·            Plan and facilitate decision-making sessions with employees ranging from line workers to executives


      Additional Responsibilities:

      ·            Facilitate meetings with both small and large groups.

      ·            Produce key project deliverable documents including: requirements, process diagrams, project plans, and change management plans

      ·            Communicate with a wide variety of technical and business experts in both individual and group settings

      ·            Decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to resolve solution vs. requirements conflicts

      ·            Negotiate priorities and resolve requirement conflicts among various stakeholders

      ·            Other duties as assigned

      Position Requirements:

      ·         5+ years demonstrated analyst experience in process re-engineering and business transformation

      ·         Undergraduate college degree

      ·         Proven skills in process analysis, re-engineering and optimization

      ·         Ability to build credibility and trust among key project stakeholders

      ·         Proficient in communication, facilitation and negotiation with stakeholder groups

      ·         Strong technical writing skills and the ability to present information in various forms such as textual, graphical and statistical


      ·         Familiarity with Project Management standards as documented in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

      ·         Skill in modeling business process requirements, verification of deliverables

      ·         Skilled in the definition and development of operational governance models to enable programmatic change

      ·         Ability to carry out assigned tasks with a professional demeanor reflected in excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills, patience, analytical reasoning and problem solving abilities

      ·         Ability to meet timelines, milestones, deliverables and provide timely (weekly) status updates

      ·         Proficiency with tools to support business analysis: MS Visio, Word, Excel (including Office 2010)


      Additional Skills Desired:

      ·         Ability to get up to speed quickly working with business subject matter experts to document business requirements in support of business strategy

      ·         Skills or experience in Lean and Six Sigma process analysis

      ·         Energy/utility industry experience

      ·         Skilled in the creation of Word Power Point presentations and MS Project
