- 1997-0830 hrs 539-41-43-45-47 Curtin St. Row of three story brick houses. Fire originated in the second floor of 543(occupied), gutting the front bedroom and extended to the third floor and loft causing heavy fire damage to both areas. Heat, smoke and water damage incurred on all three floors. Cause: overloaded extension cord. Other damage: 545(occupied) The roof was opened, heavy extension to the third floor and loft with minor fire extension to the second floor front. Water and smoke damage on all three floors. 547-smoke and check for extension damage on the second and third floors. 541-Roof cut and smoke damage on all three floors with minor extension into the third floor and loft. 539-Light smoke damage. Fire listed as under control at 0907. B Platoon, second alarm was struck.
