Now in its 49th year, the Wyandotte Street Art Fair has developed into one of the nation's best, and is the second largest outdoor art fair in the state of Michigan. This event is an impressive display of these renowned artisans and attracts more than 200,000 patrons, artists and entertainers each year.
Be sure to stop by the Riverside Kayak Connection booth at the corner of Biddle and Maple. We will have plenty of information about our shop and services as well as great retail merchandise, including Tilley Hats, Teva Footwear, and Silverwaves Jewelry.

Join Riverside Kayak Connection at this years Mid-Summer Festival in Trenton, July 9-11! Visit us at our booth and sign up for our tour offered on Sunday, 7/11, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., paddling from Elizabeth Park in Trenton. Cost for tour is $35 per participant and includes kayak, PFD and paddle. Call RKC (734) 285-2925 to register or stop by our booth at the festival. Tour participants must call ahead to reserve a boat!
Riverside Kayak will also be hosting another Demo Day, 7/11, from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., at Elizabeth Park in Trenton! Come try out one, or all, of RKC's Demo Kayaks at this fun event! Our staff will guide you through the whole process of fitting a life jacket, picking a paddle and finding the perfect boat for you. If there is a specific boat you would like to try, call the shop (734) 285-2925, to confirm we have it loaded. Come prepared to get wet and leave all valuables at home. Demo will happen rain or shine, but if there is lightening we will get off the water. Children between the ages of 8 to 18 must have an adult present, children under the age of 8 must be in a boat with an adult.All demo and tour participants will be asked to sign a waiver before getting on the water.

Pre-registration is required for the Fun Start class--please call the Van Buren Parks and Recreation at 734-699-8921 to register. No registration is required for rentals. Rental cost is $10 per half hour or $20 for up to 2 hours. Please note that there is also a $3 vehicle entry fee to get into the park. Call the shop if you would like to request a specific boat.
