- Sunday paddle From: Kathy

Thu May 1, 2008 9:02 am (PDT)Last Sunday was a nice paddle with 7 kayakers showing up. Even though
we barely paddled on the Huron, yes we kept getting lost, we still had
a good time. I really enjoyed the chance to try out all the paddles
Pete has made.
This Sunday is another chance to get lost on Lobdell Lake, which is
just west of Fenton in Genesee County. There is a DNR launch off of
Seymour Road, between Silver Lake Rd & Glenn Hatt Street. This is a
fun paddle thru tall reeds that will be all dried up and marshy come
summer. It's a little harder to find, so check it out on this map
http://www.lake- link.com/ maps/lake. cfm?LakeID= 22270&View= Area_Map
I'll be at the DNR at 10am for a 10;30 launch into Lobdell Lake.
