Group Description

Welcome to the Faqir Chand Legacy. The purpose of this group is to present the unique legacy of the illustrious 20th Century enlightened adept, Baba Faqir Chand. We will also explore many aspects of Sant Mat Siddhanta (‘Theory of The Saints’ Way’) as it is being carried forward by Baba Faqir Chand’s direct disciple and spiritual successor, Sant Harjit Singh.

Sant Mat is a soothing, ancient yogic path of bliss. The practice, known as surat shabad yoga involves mantra; ethical conduct, loving service, self-discipline and the association of spiritually awakened individuals. In advanced levels of practice, ‘whole-body enlightenment’ is actualized, through the cultivation of formless Light and Sound spiritual states or 'samadhi'. However, Light and Sound are means and not ends within themselves. The final realization consists of awakening to the non-dual Source of Light and Sound; in the here and now. As Baba Faqir Chand has observed,

“…In the state of (spiritual) awakening. Intellectually I ask, “What, in fact, is the final Secret? It is Silence; and Silence is not alone, it is accompanied by manifestation as well.”
- Yogic Philosophy of The Saints

Here you will find regular postings of spiritual book serializations, articles and satsangs. You also have online access to a practical, highly knowledgeable and hidden mystic, Sant Harjit Singh. All genuine queries pertaining to the spiritual path; including elementary, intermediate and advanced stages of meditation, are most welcome.
