        panel on the 757!

        The first FT23R 2M handhelds were transmitting full coverage out of
        the box until David Doon of the FCC walked into the Burlingame, CA.
        HRO store and put the one I handed him on 162.40 and pressed the PTT
        switch and it transmitted. That was the end to that - then it
        became "remove a solder blob" modification.
