June 22, 1893 - The Cayadutta Park will be ready for picnics, etc.,
in about two weeks. The directors of the Cayadutta road have decided
to fix the rate of fate (round trip) to the park at 30 cents. Top
parties of fifty or more, a rate of 20 cents will be made. The
electric road will carry the early morning mail after July 1st.
June 23, 1893 - Wages of Italian laborers (contractor's men) were
$1.37 per day, some $1.50 per day.
