Those that have watched the Mellon purchase of the MEC, B&M, D&H, which were all Class One railroads and unionized before the days of super mega mergers.  To create Guilford out of three class ones, leased to Springfield Terminal, a shortline that the B&M owned.  To buying the name PanAm to rename the railroad while pulling the old Boston & Maine Airways out of the dusty drawer of the 1930's to operate a new (unsafe) airline.  Your logic makes good sense when we have watched the loopholes that some people can use to turn a nickle into a dollar while not ending up in jail.
