      Hello all,

We are about done inputting all of our entire collection of films and fiche.

We know NOT to include our FHLC & IGI on fiche into the Inventory Manager.

But we have a large California collection, but we don't think they are from patrons. (We are located in California.) The numbers do match those in FHLC though.

This may be a dumb question, but if they are non-patron orders, would we put them in Inventory Manager also?

One more question, does anyone from SLC know this next question. When will centers be required to upload their IM database to SLC? I am hoping that soon, FHLC you will be able to click on a film and see where it is located near a center.

      Thanks,

I think it's in your best interest to do so as time permits once you've
        input all the patron films.

You're not going to work out if other centers don't input all the non-patron
        films.

You can put your fiche collection into IM as part of your center's collection as
long as there is a film number. You don't need to have it assigned to a patron.
You can enter the fiche directly into the Inventory screen. The center name will
be inserted if you leave the patron name blank.
We will let you know when we are ready for you to send your inventory for us to
          put in the catalog.
