Re Leslie Vaughan
- Leslie - I am responding to your question about the children as follows:
"daughter of Thomas and Mary Jones d: 8 Oct 1852 age 7 years 3 months and 4
"son of Thomas and Mary Jones d. 10 July 1854 age 10 years 8 months and 2
"daughter of Thomas and Mary Jones d. 7 Nov 1848 age 4 years and 2 months "
This may be a dumb question, but have you got Thomas and Mary Jones in the 1850 census. The son who died at 10 should be 6 in the census, likewise the girl who died at 7 should be 5 in the census. What about cemetery records in the area? It is a bit early for obituaries, but perhaps a child who died would be noted in the local newspaper under town news. O course, the two girls just need sealing, but it would be especially nice to name the boy prior to endowment. Good luck, Marge Bell
