        Thermal Electric >
        • Charles M. Brown Chip Update - Patent describes a chip which absorbs heat directly while producing electrical power. "The invention comprises an array of very many very small diodes in uniform alignment parallel, imbedded in a microchip. A mature design of 100,000,000,000 diodes per square centimeter ... would produce ~100 watts per square centimeter." (PESWiki; Feb. 27)
        • Nova Thermal Electric Chips - Salt Lake company is in late R&D stage in bringing forward an efficient, low-heat conversion to electricity method. (PESWiki; Feb. 27)
      • Biomass > Electricity from Seaweed - Tokyo Gas teamed up with NEDO to create the first power plant in the world that runs off of seaweed, which creates methane gas when broken down by microoganisms. The gas fuels an engine that produces electricity, generating 10 kilowatts of electricity per hour. Research results will be used to consider larger-scale commercial use. (TreeHugger; Feb. 26, 2007)

        - Ultrasonication produces biodiesel yields of 99% in five minutes instead of one hour, and reduces separation time from 5-10 hours to 15 minutes, according to Hielscher. It decreases the catalyst requirement by 60% due to cavitational bubble collapse, which produces intense local heating and high pressures. (Green Car Congress; Feb. 26, 2007)

(41 min) - The genius of Royal Rife and his discovery of eliminating diseases like cancer using electro magnetic frequencies, which like so many other simple natural therapies have been suppressed by the govt. and medical powers because of money, greed and power. (Google Video)
      • Fuel Efficient Five-Gear Rocket Engine Designed - Rocket engines used today to launch satellites run at maximum exhaust velocity until they reach orbit. For a car, this would be analogous to staying all the time in first gear. Georgia Tech researchers have designed a new space rocket which works as if it has a five-gear transmission system. • Alt Fuels > Butanol > Butanol Jet Fuel From CO2 - Ocean Ethanol lab experiments confirm electrochemical production of butanol from CO2, water and electricity, generating butanol, water and oxygen. Estimated production cost is $.80 per gallon - based on current electrical rates, free water and free CO2. Butanol was identified by Virgin Airlines as the jet fuel of the future. - Micro-generation of energy is set to bring a worldwide economic revolution brought by the availability of thin film batteries that are more fuel-efficient, charge within minutes, and hold a charge 40 times longer than existing batteries. Thin film batteries can be charged from renewable energy sources and used to power the home and car. (Nanotechnology Now; Feb. 19, 2007)
      • Engines > Coates - The Spherical Rotary Valve Engine creates more efficient and powerful combustion and compression stokes. A spherical port-type rotary valve system replaces the high pumping-loss poppet valve-train in a conventional engine. The result is lower emissions, more power, lower fuel consumption and no maintenance or adjustment.
