You are likely running XP. Note the message on the OS download page:

"Important Note: These downloads that do not work on Windows XP.

Please see Article 32, Floppy Image Boot Disks for all-in-one Win98

boot floppy images, that allow you to write OS floppies on any

      Windows operating system."

      That links to:

      www.ensoniqsamplers .com/epsasr/ 032.html

These are Win98 BootDisks that have all the OS's on them. What you

download is the bootdisk, you create a bootdisk floppy with it. Then

you restart your computer with that floppy inserted. This starts

Win98 command line, and creates a RAMDisk and copies the Giebler

program and OS files onto it. Then you start the Giebler program from

the RAMDisk and then you are free to create the Ensoniq OS floppy from there.

We'll be making OmniFlop images as soon as we get to it, hopefully

this will make this easier with less hoops to jump through.

Are you using the bootdisk directions, using the bootdisk? Are you
running DOS straight, not in a "shell"?

If you are doing ASR-10, you need a DS/HD, not a DS/DD; or if you are
doing EPS, you can't use DS/HD floppies.

        Try another floppy?
