- You can do that of course if you like, it seems fair to us ( or anyone we encourage to order pear trees) to understand what a general wait-time is for receiving a tree.

Hi Elaine and Others Who Might Be Wondering
There is NO general wait time. I have tried to let others know before....a time or two. The Phase I, with Cheryl experimenting with the grafts and for other obvious reasons explainded by Cheryl, several of the cuttings did not make it. Cheryl decided who got the first successful cuttings and off they went. We have a good collection of how well these trees are doing. I am excited about their survival and how the legacy of the Governor ref: his horticultural interest and pursuits are well alive and doing welll including the original in Danvers, MA which we just had a great big celebration last month.
I try to update stuff based upon what Cheryl tells me and put it in the Description of the Endicott Pear Tree Project.
I must repeat. Anyone who wants more specifics should contact Cheryl direct. That is what I have suggested and continue to suggest. If you would like to do this, you will need to contact me direct for Cheryl's contact information...I will not blast her private information across the internet. I know I have said this several times.
For those who wish to be reimbursed, the EFA, Inc. will be happy to do so. For those who trees have died, I only know of one order and we are not sure why they died. They will be replaced during Phase II according to Cheryl at no additional charge. But Cheryl needs to know any concerns direct.
I do thank the others who have been very patient. I do believe the patience is well worth it when you see photos of the other trees around the USA and how well they are doing. This is pretty significant in what the EFA, Inc. has been doing and continues to do.
Its kinda like the Donald.

Hi Gordon,We're wondering what the general wait-time is for receiving a pear tree once ordered. Simon and I have waited going on over 3 years now, and would like to ask others to order but are not sure when they'd actually receive their tree. Thanks,ElaineOn May 1, 2011, at 3:48 AM, Endicott_Gen@yahoogroups.com wrote:
