Group Description

Greetings from the Encinitas, California Freecycle(TM) group! The concept of the Freecycle Network is simple. You have something you no longer need (a couch, a crib, a computer) and you wish to "recycle" it rather than throw it in the landfill. Or you're looking for a specific item (a couch, a crib, a computer), and you'd love to get it for free. Freecycle is the place you can post notices about items you'd like to give away and items you'd like to find. The only requirement is that the transfer of an item from one person to another has to be FREE.

Everyone has something they want to get rid of, so instead of dragging it out to the curb and filling the landfills, wouldn't it be better to connect to someone who may want what you have? All individuals and charitable organizations in the region are welcome to participate. Our main geographic focus is Encinitas, Leucadia, Cardiff, Olivenhain, Solana Beach and Rancho Santa Fe. But, we welcome our neighbors in surrounding areas.

Check out freecycle.org for other cities and info on the movement!

We do have a few rules you must follow in order to participate in the group (you'll receive those in an email message when you join).  LET's recycle with FREECYCLE!DISCLAIMER: FREECYCLE NETWORK MEMBERS USE THE LIST AT THEIR OWN RISK.

Please take reasonable measures to protect your safety and privacy when posting to the list or participating in an exchange. By joining the list, you agree to hold neither the list owners and moderators nor anyone affiliated with Freecycle.org responsible or liable for any circumstance resulting from a Freecycle-related exchange.
