Group Description

This group is dedicated to the Empire family of Napoleonic miniature wargaming rules. This includes all editions of Scott Bowden and Jim Getz’s Empire (Editions I-IV and 1990’s Empire –also commonly referred to from time to time as Empire V) and Todd Fisher’s variation Revolution and Empire. Discussion of these rules, scenarios, campaigns, house rules and after-action reports are encouraged as are discussions pertaining to Napoleonic wargaming and the history of the Napoleonic period in general. Rules questions are encouraged. Both Scott Bowden and Todd Fisher have been known to lurk in our midst so it is possible to get official clarifications. Otherwise, there are plenty here on the list who are willing and able to respond to your questions

Membership and the first few posts by new members are currently moderated. We apologize for this inconvenience but this is the best way currently available to us to prevent the intrusion of spammers. Prospective members should include a statement (or two) about themselves to help expedite the review process. ************************************************************************************************************************************

The forum membership can be a lively bunch from time-to-time and all members are asked to strictly follow these rules when responding:

1. Never make a personal attack; be respectful. Stay focused on the subject, not the participant.

2. Do not use improper language (if you have to ask, assume it is).

3. Be tolerant of unorthodox opinions. Everyone has the right to say their piece.

4. Do not advertise.

(Thanks to Art for so eloquently postulating our forum rules)
