- Implementing a repetitive sweep is not difficult. When the total
count memory location I mentioned in my previous post reaches a preset
value you could stop counting pulses, send a signal to the plotter to
lift the pen, reset the total count memory location to zero, feed the
zero count signal to the plotter to reset the x axis to zero. drop the
pen and then restart counting pulses. Most likely you will need to add
a delay between the time when a zero count signal is sent to the plotter
and when you drop the pen to account for the time it takes for the x
axis to reset to zero.
