      I'd like to go hotter for some materials like metal and cooler for others
      that easily melt.
      So far i'm doing that with a variac, but experience with other tools shows
      me closed loop control always increases the usefulness of a tool.
      I don't use hot-melt very often, but i'd still like a decent gun.
